I'm also considering gettin thermal pads. Would these work whit this NFHK adapter?Īlso, would this NVMefix do the trick if there are any power issues? This WD SSD also seems like a good option. One thing I've noticed is no one talked about this Toshiba/Kioxia SSD, which is avaliable in Europe and was also a highly recommended brand from an Apple Certified Technician with whom I've talked about this.
I'm also worried about power consumption when idle, hibernation issues and a question mark appearing after turning the MBP on. I've also read this Macrumors thread and came to the conclusion that some SSDs and NVMe adapters are better than others.
I'm thinking of upgrading my A1708 2017 MBP's SSD, since the original one only has 128GB.
